I have been fortunate to care for blue-eyed endangered panther kittens at their mother’s den; rappel off sheer cliffs to band nestling golden eagles. I have watched beach sand boil with emerging sea turtle hatchlings, then watched them crawl into the surf. Hummingbirds have actually found me as a suitable perch. I have been blessed to work with great people that have mentored me along the way.

I have wandered and wondered all my life, becoming a wildlife biologist and sometime-scientist, fortunate to see Nature as a exciting place, hanging on in some cases, waiting to be discovered.

Then there is my camera, my window to Nature, helping me find focus on the character of God, incredible beauty, and a passion for exploration.
